FAQ

How bad does a tattoo hurt?

The pain is relative. Each person has a different pain tolerance. We will not lie to say that it does not hurt at all, but people won’t return for more tattoos if the pain was unbearable. Not all of us handle the pain, but the beauty of a tattoo and the pride of wearing it all our life motivates us to overcome the pain.

How much does a tattoo cost?

When we talk about tattoos, you get as much as you pay. We are aware that there are cheaper ways, but you have to think that your health is at stake. The minimum fare (200 lei) consists in the entire hygiene and sterilization procedure. For complex projects that require several sessions to be done, you have to come to the shop for price discussion. Each tattoo is personalized and a discussion beforehand helps a lot for the quality of the final result.

How long does it take for a schedule?

Things are going pretty fast for us. We are 5 artists in the shop, each with his own style and for this reason we book every project to which of us best fits the style you choose. It can last from 2-3 days to 2-3 months depending on the model, size, chosen artist and so on.

What should I do before programming?

Before the session we recommend rest as much as possible, a copious breakfast and hydration. The area to be tattooed should be treated with a moisturizing cream

How should I take care of the fresh tattoo?

After the operation we will cover the area with a bandage. Keep this bandage for at least 3 hours, no more than 24, then remove it and wash the area with warm water and a special soap (in its absence an antibacterial soap). One of the TattooMED After Tattoo or Balm TATTOO ointments will be used for healing. With this cream the tattoo will be greased in a thin layer 2-4 times a day for the first 7-10 days. Also, bathing, swimming pools or sea baths should be avoided during the healing period.

How to keep the tattoo colors alive?

For this we recommend the use of moisturizing creams with high protection factor (FPS 50+) at every sun exposure as well as moisturizing creams after each bath.

Are tattoos safe?

Yes, as long as you go to a professional salon and all hygiene conditions are respected, tattoos are safe. We just ask you to be honest with any health problem you have.

What tattoo should I get?

This is a problem that is related to your own taste. You can do anything that goes through your head, whether you come with a picture or an idea, nothing can limit you. Today we find models everywhere, let's not copy the work of another artist. We can keep the idea and style, but we can personalize the final model.

Do I need appointment to get my tattoo?

We only work with appointments, but for small tattoos it is possible to find place from one day to another or even on that day, depending on the agenda for that day.

Can I make a cover for you?

Probably, but in these case we only discuss in the shop. Whether it's a tattoo or a scar, a cover raises some issues. You have to be aware that we do not have the clean area and we need to be open about the model and the dimensions.

Can I get a finger tattoo?

Areas such as finger, palm and so on are quite difficult. The skin exfoliates much faster there and the healed tattoo will not look the way you want it to. Moreover, the area is always exposed and the opinion of those around it is still full of prejudice.

What is the minimum age at which I can get a tattoo?

The minimum age is 18 years, with small exceptions and only with the consent of a parent we can tattoo you from 17.

When is it not good to get a tattoo?

First of all when you are not sure what you want. After the medical factors come: before a surgery, after surgery, during pregnancy or breastfeeding and generally when the immune system is weak. If you drink or under the influence of other substances it is possible to refuse you.

Do you use anesthetic creams?

Lately there have been on the market all kinds of creams that help. We preferred to avoid them for the simple reason that it affects the skin and often the healing. We would rather do an extra session than retouching.
